Return & Refund Policy

At AEPC (AKL East PC), we are committed to providing quality products and services. We understand that under certain circumstances, customers may wish to request a return or refund. The following terms outline how AEPC handles returns, exchanges, and refunds. By placing an order or requesting service, you agree to the following policy.


1. Return Request and Timeframe

We offer a 14-day Return-to-Base (RTB) return policy. Customers must request a return within 14 calendar days of receiving their item.

All return requests must be submitted in writing via email to akleastpc@gmail.com. Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.


2. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be in original condition, unused, unmodified, and undamaged;

  • All original packaging, accessories, manuals, and labels must be included;

  • A valid proof of purchase (such as an invoice or receipt) must be provided.

AEPC reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet these conditions or that show signs of use or damage.


3. Return Handling Fee

All approved returns are subject to a 25% handling and restocking fee, calculated based on the total order value. This fee is non-refundable.

Shipping fees, service charges, or third-party transaction fees from the original order are also non-refundable.


4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are strictly non-returnable:

  • Custom-built systems or special-order products;

  • Opened CPUs, motherboards, or other sensitive electronic components;

  • Digital products or downloadable software.

If you are unsure whether your item is eligible for return, please contact us before placing your order.


5. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your items within 48 hours of delivery. If you discover any of the following, contact us immediately:

  • The item is damaged or faulty;

  • The item received is different from what was ordered.

If confirmed, AEPC will take corrective action in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand). This may include:

  • Replacement with the same or an equivalent item;

  • Repair of the item;

  • Full refund.

In such cases, return shipping costs will be covered by AEPC.


6. Exchange Policy

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to receive a different item, you must:

  1. Submit a return request for the original item (if eligible);

  2. Place a separate order for the new item.


7. Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you by email regarding the outcome of your refund request.

  • If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 3 business days;

  • The actual time for the refund to appear may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

8. Additional Information

  • AEPC is not liable for loss or damage of returned items during transit. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured courier service.

  • AEPC reserves the right to amend this policy at any time. Updated terms will be published on our official website and take effect immediately.
